The 1990s

The '90's started well for the club with the junior team pulling off a famous victory in the North Kerry Junior League final when the defeated Ballydonoghue in October 1990. The team that pulled off that victory included;

The promise shown at underage level with the winning of the 1978 North Kerry Minor Championship an d the 1979 North Kerry U-21 Championship finally paid off when the club reached it's first North Kerry Senior Championship final in 1980. The 1960's - The Glory Years & The 1970's

In 1962, St. Senan's were beaten in the semi-final of the North Kerry Intermediate Championship versus Bally longford in Bally longford. In 1963, they reached the final of the same championship and beat Listowel in Bally bunion. This team was captained by Billy Buckley. Among the men who lined out for the St. Senan's during this perios were Mikey Kelly, Jack O'Halloran, Bob McElligott, Dio Daly, Dinny McElligott, Mickey Fuller, Jerome Moloney, Tom 'Michael' McElligott, Tom Horan, Eugene Griffin, Paddy Moriarty and Frank Lawlor (worked at Matt Canty's forge in Banemore).

Behins is situated between Listowel and the Half-Way. During the 1920's a team from Behins represented the area on the football fields of North Kerry. During the years 1925 - 1928 Behins were at their strongest. The team was made up of a lot of students, mostly from the priestly ranks.
